How many different courses do you offer?

Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced.

How long is each course?

All of our courses are 5 days in length starting at 9:00 AM until 3:00 PM, running from Monday to Friday. We take a 1 hour lunch break between 12:00 and 1:00 PM

How many courses do you recommend?

It all depends on your goals and how much you want to learn. For individuals who just want to learn the basics for personal use, the beginner course is sufficient. For students wishing to learn for commercial purposes we recommend beginner and intermediate courses. Some students want to become teachers and we recommend at least 1 or 2 advance courses.

How long does it take to become a good carver?

It all depends on the individual. Just like any art form, you become better with practice. Some students pick things up faster than others.

Do you teach soap carving?

Yes, but we advise students to have at least 1 or 2 days of fruit & vegetable carving classes prior to learning how to carve soap.

What if I only want to take just 1 or 2 lessons?

This is not a problem, but we strongly recommend taking 2 or more days if possible, especially if you are a beginner with no prior carving experience. If you are on a tight schedule while in Bangkok, you can take our 2-day intensive fruit & vegetable carving course.

Do you teach on weekends?

Arrangements can be made upon request.

Do I need to bring anything with me for class?

No, we provide everything you need to take part in the fruit and vegetable carving classes.

Can we purchase fruit & vegetable carving tools, such as knives, books and DVDs?

We sell the best fruit and vegetable carving knives, books, and training videos at very reasonable prices.

Can I take private classes?

Yes. Please contact us to make arrangements.

Do you issue certificates?

Yes. A certificate is awarded upon completion of each course.

Do you offer special group rates?

Yes. For groups of 2 or more.

What about meals during the class?

We provide a complimentary Thai lunch every day with unlimited snacks and beverages during classes.

Where do you teach classes?

We teach at selected hotels in Bangkok.

Do you offer on site training?

Yes. Please contact us with detailed information of your requirements.

Do you require a deposit?

Yes. A 15% deposit is required at 14 days before classes begin.

Can you help find me hotel accommodations in Bangkok?

Yes. Bangkok has everything from budget guesthouses to 5 star hotels, and we would be happy to recommend one that will fit your budget.

What else can I do while in Bangkok?

We can arrange English speaking sightseeing tours. We have lived in Bangkok for many years and would be pleased to recommend the highlights. Private tours can also be arranged.
